How we work

Aphorism – “Know thyself” – literally “distinction” or “definition”.

Paul Gauguin asked the big questions “Where do we come from? What are we? Where are we going?” in his 1897 painting of the same title. He considered it a masterpiece and the culmination of all of his thoughts.

Step 1 – While we can’t answer any of these questions as individuals, Culture Shock must find answers to all three for each of our clients’ brands at the start of an ongoing journey of mutual self-discovery.

Step 2 – Only when a client is ready to tell the world where they come from, what they are and where they are going, can we use these insights to build engaging narratives and dynamic content to be shared in meaningful ways with the world.

Step 3 – It is our mission and strategy from the outset to turn each of our clients into active partners. When both parties reach a deep mutual understanding, achieve desired results and reap the benefits, we arrive at a scenario that allows us to plan what can happen next.

Step 4 – Working in tandem with our partners we craft long term, ambitious activations – to do things that have never been done, to shake things up, to make things better, to build things that work better, to dream the seemingly impossible and make it a reality.
